About Newdays
Inspiring Workspaces
We have landed here on Earth with a mission to create inspiring workspaces.
The founder Christian Askjær is a recognised visual artist and photographer, who travels the world bringing home colourful and unique photographs. Together with Karolina, an art-loving musician with wild communication skills, we are changing work spaces with a fresh delivery of modern photography art twice a year.
Why is Inspiration in the Workspace Important?
A survey with over 800 employees from 32 different companies showed following results: 78% said that art in the workspace reduced stress levels. 64% said that art in the workspace provided inspiration and increased their creativity. The study also showed that art in the workspace led to increased and better collaboration.
Dr. Craig Knight, who has studied the psychology of working environments for 12 years at the University of Exeter, says:
“If you enrich a space people feel much happier and work better; a very good way of doing this is by using art.”
Sustainable Community
The workplace is part of a sustainable community. New photography art is delivered twice a year, and previous photography art is passed on in the Newdays community.
